Objectives – Create local CSA survivor peer support groups network

* CREATE LOCAL PEER SUPPORT GROUPS –  “CSA SURVIVORS TOGETHER”
Peer support is often the best sort of therapy for many survivors. Talking and associating with others that have come through the other side of abuse and the realisation that you are not alone in your experience is very helpful in coming to terms with the trauma.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
We have started a peer support group in Telford where survivors can come together in a safe location and help each other alongside our trained therapists.
When you walk out the door after each meeting you will know you are not alone, and you will have a group of friends that can empathise and know what you are going through in your recovery from abuse.

We have linked up with Telford TACT – The After Care Team run by the wonderful Wendy Middleton and her caring team, and there on offer you will find one to one support for sexual abuse, depression, PTSD and substance abuse, so we have a fantastic one stop location to help survivors get their lives back on track.
